   About Me

My name is Rebecca Purdom, I live in Beautiful British Columbia, Canada, with my husband, daughter and about a zillion pets!

I have shared pretty much all my life with animals thanks to my wonderful mother, but the bulk of my husbandry experiences came from about 12 years of working full time in the pet industry. In my experiences, I had chances to work with many common and exotic pets including the standard dogs, and cats, as well as more involved pets like fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and arachnids. During some of my most involved times I was lucky enough to manage the reptile sections at two different pet shops.

After taking a maternity leave to have my daughter I went back to work but in a different direction, a vet clinic. I was really enjoying my new vocation, but I found that I was longing for a bit of my old life. I wanted to help people find new pets, I missed reptiles and being able to help educate people about animals and their care. I had helped a friend (Sean Kasper) begin a snake breeding business, and felt that he and I could work together to help fill a void in the market as well as have a whole lot of fun playing with genetics and bringing many more snakes into our lives.

Unfortunately, in September 2007, my partner decided to discontinue his involvement in the hobby/business. Luckily I was able to buy out most of his end of the partnership. And so the - Triple "R" Corn Ranch came into being...

Now with the past success, and many friendships I have forged, I am lucky enough to have many of the higher end morphs including Hypo Lavender Stripes, Pied sided, Sulfurs, and many other Bloodred combinations! I CAN'T WAIT to see what the future brings!!
